Yes, X-rays are typically required for root canal treatment in Liverpool. They play a crucial role in diagnosis, treatment planning, during treatment (to ensure all infected material is removed and the root canals are clear) and post treatment to assess accuracy of the treatment.

When you have toothache it’s likely that you will book an emergency appointment with your dentist. These types of short notice appointments are often much shorter than needed to complete root canal treatment.
